Nell Ericksen

Nell Ericksen, age 89, of Hampton, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021, at the Sutton Community Home in Sutton. Nells’s wishes were to be cremated.  A Graveside service will be held at a later date at the United Lutheran Cemetery 3 miles north of Hampton, 17th and W Rd.  No visitation.

Lorene Friesen

Lorene A. Friesen, age 88 of Henderson, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, April 25, 2021, at Henderson.  She was born October 8, 1932, in rural York County, to Peter G. and Kathryn (Friesen) Kroeker.  Ruben and Lorene were united in marriage on December 6, 1950, at Henderson.

Stella Schaffert

Stella Schaffert, age 79, of Aurora, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 1 at the Aurora Cemetery.  The family invites you to join them for lunch following the service at Streeter Park.

Eileen Hansen, age 97, of Omaha, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Memorial Hospital in Aurora. Eileen’s wishes were to be cremated.  A Graveside Service will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, April 21 at the Hampton United Lutheran Cemetery, 17th & W Road, three miles north of Hampton. Rev.

Jim Salmon, age 81, of Aurora, passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Memorial Community Care. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 20 at the Presbyterian U.C.C.  Rev. Penny Schulz and Barb Johnson will officiate.  Inurnment will be at a later date.

Peggy Friesen

Peggy Diane Friesen, age 69, of Henderson died on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Lincoln. She was born on September 22, 1951 in York, to Forrest E. and Wilmadean M. (Landis) Bowman. On May 23, 1970, Peggy was united in marriage to Ken L. Friesen at Bethesda Mennonite Church in Henderson.

Harold Nachtigall

Harold Nachtigall, age 86, passed away at Brookfield Park, St. Paul, on Saturday, April 10, 2021. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 12 p.m. at the Pleasant View Bible Church of Aurora.  Pastor Bob Gannon will officiate.

Marie Wadell Otto, age 99, passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Memorial Community Care. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 14 at the Westside Covenant Church, 1009 First Street, Aurora. Rev. Karl Larson will officiate. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery.

Memorial Services for Scott Lee Frickel, age 56, of Lincoln,  will be at 4 p.m., Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Seger Funeral Home in Atkinson, with Vicar Nancy Moore officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Atkinson. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m.
