HPC survives playoff thriller

For three quarters, High Plains and Lawrence-Nelson played a defensive slobberknocker with 12 combined points. An offensive explosion broke out in the fourth quarter before one final defensive stand won the game for the Storm.

Storm clutch up in postseason victory

The third time was definitely the charm for the High Plains volleyball team.For the third time in six days, HPC and Osceola met on the volleyball floor with Monday’s match carrying the most weight in terms of season implications. Winner keeps its season alive and the loser turns in their jerseys.

Storm set for playoff rematch

For the first time since 2019, the High Plains football team will host playoff football in Clarks.The Storm earned the No. 7 seed in the opening round of the D2 playoffs and will play host to a very familiar foe, Lawrence-Nelson.

Aurora and High Plains rolled to big wins Friday night behind big offensive numbers. The Huskies totaled over 350 yards in its biggest offensive output of the season, defeating Milford 56-14.Aurora ran for over 200 yards while adding nearly 150 through the air, scoring 35 points before half.
