Aurora is ready to roll out the red carpet and celebrate this week with a four-day A’ROR’N Days party that’s long overdue. After a one-year pandemic pause, event organizers on several fronts are excited to finally be able to continue what has become an annual late June tradition.

As temperatures keep climbing many people are on the lookout for a refreshing way to beat the heat. This is where local kids can step in by providing the classic lemonade stand. Setting up a table of their own last week were Eleanor and Nolan Geiken, with the help of their grandmother Laura Jobman.

A new event is set to kick off in Aurora Sunday to celebrate Pride Month and the LGBTQ+ community in the form of a pride march followed by a drag show. Organizers Beaux Mason, Evan Rose and Dakota Russell spoke on the events of the day and the impact they are hoping it has on the community.
