NDOT worker dies after being struck by SUV

A Nebraska Department of Transportation employee died Tuesday afternoon in a traffic accident on Highway 34 west of Aurora. A release from NDOT reports the incident occurred  at approximately 12:30 p.m. near the Giltner Spur.

Aurora’s youth football progam wrapped up a perfect season in perfect football weather Sunday, defeating Raymond Central 37-8 on its home turf in the Farmers Valley Youth Football League Championship. Aurora led 16-0 at halftime before adding 21 points in the second half.
