Hunting and conservation enthusiasts are planning a fund-raising banquet in Phillips March 14 ending a three-year hiatus for an event designed to connect private landowners to Pheasants Forever dollars and resources.

The new year has brought a new home for Aurora’s fledgling New Hope Community Church.

This year, the Messiah Lutheran Church hosted the Hamilton County Backpack Program’s annual Soup Bowl Fundraiser on Thursday, Feb. 19.Program co-founder Pat Pickering said it was a positive turnout with visitors taking time to enjoy soup within the warmth of the church.
