The Aurora Development Corporation announced recently that jobs created at the Mission Critical site south of town have completed the state’s Community Development Block Grant requirements, opening the door to continued business growth and expansion.

A Marquette woman appeared in Hamilton County Court on Monday to face felony child abuse charges related to the death of a 3-month-old child in Marquette on Aug. 6. Sheriff Jeromy McCoy reported last week that on Aug. 6 deputies had responded to a 911 call at 107 Lynn St.
The Hamilton County Planning and Zoning Commission approved an amendment last week which would make large vintage signs like these shown in Marquette, “yard art.” The amendment will be reviewed by the Marquette Village Board at its Sept. 9 meeting.

Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol have arrested one person after locating over 15 pounds of suspected methamphetamine and cocaine following a pursuit on Interstate 80 that ended near Aurora.At approximately 7:20 p.m.
