Hampton coach Margo LaBrie hit a career milestone last week, winning her 200th career game from the head chair. The Lady Hawks picked up its first win of the season on the road, defeating Elba 49-24 to hit the mark for their longtime coach.

Huskies rally past Northwest in Saturday thriller

Rivalry weekend was a rousing success for the Huskies, but it didn’t come without a few hair-raising moments and clutch efforts. Aurora held onto a solid 56-48 win over York at home Friday before rallying from behind to steal a win from Grand Island Northwest, 45-40 Saturday afternoon.

Home cooking was just what the doctor ordered for the Aurora girls wrestling team last week.The Lady Huskies featured five first place finishers at Thursday’s home event with several other second and third place efforts.
