For the first time in school history, a crop of Aurora girls wrestlers competed at Columbus Lakeview Friday, starting a new tradition at AHS.

The Lady Huskies finished second in the team race behind the host Lakeview Vikings in a five-team tournament.

History was made by Aurora's Kehlanee Bengtson, who not only won Aurora's first-ever girls match, but also earned a 1st place effort at 138, winning both of her matches via pinfall within the first minute.

Seven others, including Natalie Bisbee, Mae Sikes, Ayeanna Smith, Cadance Jarzynka, Shyann Shaw and Katelyn Slattery were all in action for Aurora.
