Dorothy (Dot) Nelson, age 89, of Aurora, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021, at her home. Due to COVID and for everyone’s safety a Private Family Memorial Service will be held at the Aurora Presbyterian United Church of Christ. Rev. Penny Schulz will officiate.

Evelyn Maw, age 92, of Aurora, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Memorial Hospital. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 22 at the Giltner Cemetery. Pastor Penny Schulz will officiate. Memorials may be given to the family for future designation.

Brent Ediger

Brent Cameron Ediger, beloved son, brother, uncle, great-uncle, and friend passed away February 4, 2021 at the age of 56. Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, March 20 at the Leadership Center in Aurora.    There will be no visitation.

Patsy Atkins

Kenda High, age 56, was ushered into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 12, 2021 at home surrounded by loved ones, after battling a rare disease. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 17 at Countryside Bible Church in Hampton.

Marcella Obermeier, age 93, of Aurora, formerly of Giltner, passed away Monday, March 8, 2021, at Westfield Quality Care in Aurora. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 12 at the Giltner United Methodist Church. Rev. Buck Linton Hendrich will officiate.

Linda Dose

Linda Dose, age 73, of Aurora, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at home. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 12 at Zion Lutheran Church north of Hampton. Rev. David Feddern will officiate.  Inurnment will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m.

Ron Thompson, age 62, of Aurora, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021, at home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 8 at Monroe Evangelical Free Church of Phillips. Rev. Joe Mullarkey will officiate.  Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m.

Kevin Klawonn, age 67 of Hampton died suddenly Wednesday March 3, 2021. Per Kevin’s request there will be a private family burial. Please join us for a Celebration of Life Service at 11 a.m. Tuesday March 9 followed by coffee and cookies (Kevin style) at Countryside Bible Church near Hampton.

Norma Colby, age 95, of Grand Island, formally from Aurora passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Tiffany Square Care Center with her family by her side. The family will hold a private memorial service at the Omaha National Cemetery.
