JoAnn Bedell

JoAnn Bedell,86, of Phillips went to her heavenly home May 1, 2021 at Bryan West Hospital in Lincoln. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow visitation at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Loren Bangs

Loren Bangs. 73, died from cancer at his home in Aurora,  on April 30, 2021. Loren was born on October 4, 1947 in Alhambra, CA. His family moved to rural Phillips, in 1948 when Loren was six months old. Loran attended 9 years in a one-room schoolhouse just one mile from his home.

Allan Gaskill

Allan D. Gaskill was born on April 21, 1936 to Orville and Georgia (Wolf) Gaskill. He died on his 85th birthday, Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at the Broadstone Memorial Hospital in Superior. He graduated from Beloit High School in 1954.

Lucille (Lucy) Kramer

Lucille (Lucy) Kramer, age 92, formerly of Aurora, passed away November 25, 2020 in Goodyear, Arizona.   A Mass for Lucy (Haverkamp) Kramer, 92 will be held Saturday, May 8 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Aurora.  Inurnment of ashes will follow at the Aurora Cemetery.

Nell Ericksen

Nell Ericksen, age 89, of Hampton, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021, at the Sutton Community Home in Sutton. Nells’s wishes were to be cremated.  A Graveside service will be held at a later date at the United Lutheran Cemetery 3 miles north of Hampton, 17th and W Rd.  No visitation.

Lorene Friesen

Lorene A. Friesen, age 88 of Henderson, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, April 25, 2021, at Henderson.  She was born October 8, 1932, in rural York County, to Peter G. and Kathryn (Friesen) Kroeker.  Ruben and Lorene were united in marriage on December 6, 1950, at Henderson.

Stella Schaffert

Stella Schaffert, age 79, of Aurora, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 1 at the Aurora Cemetery.  The family invites you to join them for lunch following the service at Streeter Park.

Jim Salmon, age 81, of Aurora, passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Memorial Community Care. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 20 at the Presbyterian U.C.C.  Rev. Penny Schulz and Barb Johnson will officiate.  Inurnment will be at a later date.
