Denny Danielson

Denny Joe Danielson, 58, passed away on August 21, 2023, at his family home in York, surrounded by loved ones, after a brave fight with a glioblastoma brain tumor. Born on June 7, 1965, in Aurora, he was the third child of Deryl and Delores (Baasch) Danielson.

Nancy Kauffman, age 84, of Omaha, formerly of Grand Island, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023, at The Heritage at Legacy in Omaha.Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 23 at the Aurora United Methodist Church. Pastor Mary Scott will officiate.

Wilmadeen Cramer

Wilmadeen Joyce Yenne Kugler Cramer, 90, of Bartlett, was welcomed into heaven on August 18, 2023. She was greeted in eternal life by her husband and father of her children, the late Wyvern D Kugler, who preceded her in death.

Michael “Mike” Joseph Shaneyfelt, 32, of Grand Island passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023.A Memorial Service and Celebration of Mike’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 20 at All Faiths Funeral Home of Grand Island.  There is a gathering of family and friends from 1 p.m.

Suzanne DeNio Harland was born in McCook, on September 28, 1948 to Robert Scott and Polly (DeNio) Wilkinson.  She attended school in Curtis, graduating from high school in 1966.

Billie L. Foulk, 66, of Giltner, passed away, Aug. 9, 2023 at Kearney Regional Medical Center.Funeral services will be held at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Grand Island, , Tuesday, Aug. 15 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Bill Pavuk officiating. Burial will be in the Giltner Cemetery.

Diane Rathjen

Diane Jane Rathjen, 79, of Aurora, died Monday, August 7, 2023, in Memorial Community Care Center in Aurora, surrounded by her family.  Diane’s life will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Curran Funeral Chapel.  The Rev. Andrew Springer will officiate.
