Kirk Penner was one of several speakers Monday at the State Capitol in Lincoln explaining petition drives being launched by Advocates for All Nebraskans in an effort to reduce property taxes in Nebraska.

Work began last week on cleaning up the site of the former Gambles building and by Monday morning the job was almost complete.
