Hamilton County commissioners voted Monday to create a new bank account for COVID American Rescue Plan monies.
The buildings and house in the background are 14th Street lots rezoned last week by the Aurora City Council. The Aurora Cooperative has announced preliminary plans to expand operations from across the street, where the service center is now located.
Aurora and Hamilton County received good news this week in the form of a $1 million grant which local leaders say could have an impact on addressing the community’s housing needs for years to come.
The Hamilton County Board of Commissioners were joined Monday by more than 20 individuals, some spilling out into the hallway beyond the meeting room.
