Hampton Hawks fly high with drone program

The Hampton Hawks are soaring to new heights after the introduction of a drone program last fall. Four high school students are taking part as Nebraska’s only drone team in Aerial Drone Robotics.

Hampton’s efforts come up dry against Fullerton

A hot start from Fullerton was too much for Hampton to overcome in the postseason opener.  The Hawks fell behind early and never quite got back within striking distance as the host Warriors defeated Hampton 56-39 in the semifinals of the D2-6 subdistrict tournament Feb. 21.

Hornets hold off Hawks in another nail-biter

For the third time in a row dating back to a season ago, a rivalry game between Giltner and Hampton came down to the final second.  For a third time in a row it was the same result -- a Giltner victory. How we got there Friday night, though, wasn’t the same.

Hampton struggles in CRC opener against East Butler

A third quarter scoring drought all but doomed Hampton’s CRC hopes Saturday night.  The Hawks were held to just two third quarter points as East Butler ran away with a 57-33 win over Hampton in the 7-10 first round CRC matchup from the iconic York City Auditorium.
