Richard "Dick" Rice

Richard “Dick” D. Rice, 84, of Chapman, passed away on December 20, 2022 at CHI Health-St. Francis.  A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 2 p.m. at the Chapman Baptist Church.  Pastor Beth Gregory will officiate.  Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 27 from 5-7 p.m.

Karen Andersen, age 78, of Marquette, passed away Monday, December 19, 2022, at Memorial Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, December 28 at the St. John’s Church in Kronborg. Rev. Ricardo Riqueza will officiate. Inurnment will be in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.

Steven E. Breitenfeldt, age 76, of Giltner, passed away December 15, 2022 at the Grand Island Regional Medical Center.    Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home with Pastor Carl Eliason officiating.

Ellamae Dimmitt, 84, of Aurora passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 in Aurora. Cremation was chosen, private family graveside services will be held at a later date in Newcastle. All Faiths Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. Memorials are suggested to the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund.

Mary Van Housen

Mary L. Van Housen, age 82, formerly of Aurora, passed away Sunday, Nov. 27, 2022. Mary was born April 21, 1940, in Gibbon.  She spent most of her life living in Nebraska where she served as a nurse. In her younger years, she enjoyed roller skating and dancing.

Jordan Eastman, age 34, of Giltner, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022, as the result of a car accident. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 8 at the Giltner Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the Giltner Community Center in Giltner.
