Shahn Eldon Boss, aged 56, passed away on November 9, 2024, in Grand Island. He was born on June 11, 1968 to Rod and Mary Ann Boss.Shahn graduated from Hildreth High School in 1986 and furthered his education at Kearney State College.

Marie J. Alms, age 89, of York, passed on to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 8, 2024 at York. She was born September 10, 1935 to Chris and Irene (Deuker) Regier at Polk. She was united in marriage to Harold W. Alms on September 26, 1954 at St Peter’s Lutheran Church at Hampton.

Michael Wengler, age 62, of Aurora, passed away Friday, November 8, 2024, at his home in Aurora.A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 13, at the Evangelical Free Church in Aurora. Pastor Jim Garfield will officiate. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery.

Celebration of life service for Vera M. Grudzinski, 91 of Norfolk, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 11, 2024 at the Westridge United Methodist Church, Norfolk. Officiating the service will be Pastor Caitlin Bentzinger. Burial will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, Norfolk.

Harlan Braun, age 96, of Henderson, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, November 4, 2024 in Henderson. Harlan entered the world on November 20, 1927 as the third child of Jacob I.

A Memorial Graveside Service for Janice Alberts will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Calvary Cemetery in Sutton, with Father Mark Seiker presiding. Following the graveside service there will be a lunch and time of fellowship at the Fox Hollow Golf Course.

George Wanek

George Allen Wanek was born in Aurora, to George Clayton and Martha Jane (Kimball) Wanek. He passed away on October 27, 2024, in Grand Island, at the age of 86.George grew up in Aurora, graduating from Aurora High School in 1956, then from Creighton University with a degree in Mathematics in 1960.

Elsie Stonestreet

Elsie Stonestreet, age 91, of Lincoln, formerly of Aurora, passed away Monday, October 28, 2024, at Gateway Vista in Lincoln.Elsies’s wishes were to be cremated.  The family will have a Memorial Service for her sometime next spring.   Inurnment will be at the North Logan Cemetery north of St. Paul.

Bonnie J. Rudy, age 81, of Aurora, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024, at East Park Villa.Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 26 at Stockham Community Church.    Pastor Clayton Kliewer will officiate. Interment will be at 2 p.m. in the Aurora Cemetery.
