Aurora graduate Ellie Wanek ended her senior year in a flash, complete with turning in her blue Aurora FFA jacket and presidential title for another one.

Wednesday, Oct. 20 was a big day for local FFA land judging teams, as students from Aurora, Hampton and High Plains gave it their all on a section of land outside Bertrand.  Among students from 39 high schools, local names fared well.
Hampton FFA President Sarah Logue said she gained confidence and a broader perspective on all things agriculture during the four years she wore her familiar blue FFA jacket.

Slipping on the familiar blue jacket gives Sarah Logue a boost of confidence she didn’t expect when she joined FFA as a freshman. The experience has changed her attitude, she admits, as well as her perspective on all things agriculture.
