A solid night on the attack and defensive play at the net pushed Aurora to the top Tuesday night.
Aleah Vinkenberg was solid offensively while Rachel Hunter and Delaney Nachtigal were strong defensively as Aurora defeated Holdrege on the road in four, 25-22, 25-15, 17-25 and 25-18.

The Aurora cross country boys had their hands full at the Charlie Thorell Invite in Seward Thursday where a young Husky squad competed without its No. 1 runner on slick, hilly terrain.
The end result was a valuable learning experience for a Husky team that finished 12th in a 14-team field.
