‘Mullet’ hairstyle part of ever-changing style trends

ANR Sports Editor Rich  Rhoden in his BigRich Sports Report made mention of former Husky Nate Boerkircher making good waves inside the Husker football workouts. Boerkircher has been noticed for his play on the field as well as his new flowing hairstyle called a “mullet.

The beautiful, flowing hair from the back of his helmet makes him stand out in the crowd.  It’s a unique look, something that’s required a ton of patience to come in and now, enjoy the spoils of a business in the front, party in the back look.

We came across  a booklet called Home Town Tales that was written by Joseph C. Alden in 1935. Alden was a home town boy who eventually took the reins of the Aurora Republican-Register. In his booklet he recalled a variety of subjects, which included his report on “Symptoms of Inventive Greatness.

The flame has been extinguished in Tokyo, bringing the end to an Olympic Games unlike any before it. Though some will remember this summer Olympics as much for the pandemic backdrop as the competitions themselves, there was much to celebrate for Americans tuning in to Tokyo.

Drought taking a toll on summer in Minnesota

A few weeks ago we headed to Minnesota  to visit our son; hope to do a little fishing; take a break from the hot weather; and simply “just get away from the problems of the world.”  Well, we successfully completed one of four of the goals.

This year’s county fair marks a significant anniversary
