Farm finance clinics to be held remotely in July

Farmers and ranchers are invited to attend a free clinic on either Wednesday July 8, 15 or 22. The clinics are one-on-one, not group sessions, and are confidential. The legal and financial clinic gives people a chance to meet with an experienced ag law attorney and farm financial counselor.

Residents at East Park Villa celebrated some good news Tuesday morning with several local pastors offering a prayer as the assisted living facility in Aurora prepares to open to visitors after months of pandemic-driven isolation.

District Court staff showcases postcards in fun tradition

When community members make their way to the Hamilton County District Court they are given a chance to look over a map of the world that’s covered with pins in different countries and postcards around the edge.

Youth’s newest hobby forged with blacksmith fire

A group of children surrounded a burning furnace despite the sweltering July heat. They watched with eager eyes as a piece of metal was pulled from the fire and shaped into a spiral.
