HPC, Hampton to hold graduations Saturday afternoon

Caps, gowns, tassels and hugs will be the order of the day Saturday in two area communities, as Hampton High School and High Plains in Polk will be graduating members of their classes of 2026. HPC's commencement will be first, starting at 1 p.m. in the high school gym.

The Hamilton Community Foundation (HCF) continues to grow its scholarship program thanks to the generosity and long-term vision of donors who believe in the power of education.

Laughter and tears came in waves throughout the Giltner High School gymnasium Sunday afternoon as 19 seniors gathered one last time for their graduation ceremony.The Class of 2026 was represented by three of its members, who spoke about their accomplishments and memories to everyone in attendance.

Hampton graduation set for Saturday

Hampton High School will graduate the 11 seniors of the Class of 2026 on Saturday at the main gymnasium. The commencement exercises will take place at 2 p.m.The valedictorian speech will be given by Lofton Ferguson followed by a speech from Salutatorian Aydenn Scherff.
