Corn field catches fire near Marquette
A call went out on Tuesday around 2 p.m. for a ditch fire on 22 Road just west of Marquette.
Marquette fire chief D.J. Frauendorfer reported that cause of the fire was most likely a cigarette thrown out of a window.

The Aurora boys cross country team emerged victorious Thursday at the C-4 district meet in Minden and now heads to Kearney hoping to defend its 2019 state championship title.
Alongside the team win, five runners brought home individual medals.
