Randall (Randy) Conard

Randall (Randy) Ray Conard, age 73, of York, died in Lincoln, April 25, 2022. Randy was born March 15, 1949 in Burwell to Walt and Ella (Schafer) Conard. He was married to Deb (Rathje) on October 3, 1981. To this union two boys were born, Travis and Ryan and a daughter Cami from previous marriage.

John M. Ryan, 84, of Phillips passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022 at All Faiths Funeral Home. Dan Naranjo will officiate. Burial will follow at Phillips Cemetery. All Faiths Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Fern Myers

Fern F. Myers, formerly of Polk, met her Lord and Savior face to face on April 22, at the age of 97.  She was a resident of the Midwest Covenant Home in Stromsburg. A Celebration of Fern’s life will be on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 10 a.m.

Ron Messman

Ron Messman, age 85, of Aurora, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022 at CHI-St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m.  Friday, April 22nd at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Aurora. Rev. Mark Seiker will be the Celebrant.

Lois Paschke

Lois Paschke, age 91, of Aurora, passed into the presence of her Savior, Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Heritage Memory Support in Grand Island, where she resided the last three years. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 14 at the Pleasant View Bible Church in Aurora.

Bruce Hudson

Bruce L. Hudson, age 66 of Bradshaw, died Sunday, April 10, 2022 in Osceola. He was born on January 11, 1956 to Don and Sharon (Agsten) Hudson in Central City.  He grew up and spent his entire life in rural Polk.

Lola "LaVonne" Flohr

Lola “LaVonne” Flohr, 85, of Aurora, died Monday, April 4, 2022, at Westfield Quality Care of Aurora.  Lavonne’s wish was to be cremated.  Graveside services will be at the Aurora Cemetery, in Aurora, at a later date.  Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.

Former Hastings resident Eloise Alberta Eastman Reid, 86, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Memorial Community Care in Aurora.   Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with Pastor Paul Dunbar officiating.

David LaBrie

David A. LaBrie, 77, of Minden, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at his home in Minden. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Heartwell with Rev. Evan Winter officiating.

Donna Jean Northup 74, of Aurora died Tuesday, March 22, 2022. Celebration of Life Service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 25th at the Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, 209 S. 16th St., Aurora.  Reverend Tim Wells will officiate.
