Randall "Randy" Otto

Randall “Randy” Otto, 69, of Phillips, passed away December 29, 2021 in Chattanooga, TN.  A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 15 at 3 p.m. at All Faiths Funeral Home.  Dan Naranjo will officiate.  Visitation will run from 1-3 p.m. on that day, also at the funeral home.

Robert Hartzell

A Celebration of Life for Robert Hartzell is being hosted by his children on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022 from 3 to 7 p.m. There will be a short service at 3 p.m. officiated by Pat Phillips, followed by a light lunch and beverages.

Lawrence Shaffer

Lawrence Buryl Shaffer, 97, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at the Rose Vista Nursing Home. He was born in Moorhead, Iowa on “Moving Day” March 1, 1924, to Burl and Anna (McHugh) Shaffer. In his youth, he spent time in Magnolia, Pisgah, Beebeetown, Logan, Persia and Woodbine.

Patricia Ross

Patricia Ross, 90, of Apache Junction, Arizona, passed away peacefully December 12, 2021. She was born January 22, 1931, in Georgetown, Illinois, to Odie and Virgina Kilby. Later,  her adoptive father, Dr. Ray H. Reynolds, established  a dental practice in Aurora.

Chad E. Jividen, 49, of Hordville, died Thursday, December 30, 2021 at CHI St. Francis in Grand Island.  Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Arbor Drive Community Church in York at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jon Hawkins officiating.

Thomas Fulton

Thomas Albert Fulton, 84, of Grand Island passed on Sunday, December 26, 2021 with his loving family by his side. Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 6 at All Faiths Funeral Home, Grand Island.  Pastor CL Wimer and Daniel Naranjo will officiate.

Willis 'Bill' Maahs

Willis “Bill”  Maahs, age 91 passed away December 27, 2021 at Ambassador Health in Lincoln. A memorial service will be held January 5, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at Messah Lutheran Church in Aurora. The family will greet family and friends from 9-10 a.m.

Rogean 'Jeanie' Vetter

Rogean T. Vetter “Jeanie” of Marquette, passed away Dec 22, 2021 of Alzheimer’s Disease. She was 75. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Aurora United Methodist Church in Aurora.  No Visitation.  The family requests those attending the service wear facemasks.

Alex Meyer, age 80, of Snyder, died Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at St. Elizabeth’s Burn Center in Lincoln.  A celebration of life memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 27, at Evangelical Free Church in Fremont ( 2050 N Lincoln) led by Pastor Ryan Miller.

Bertha Ljunggren, age 95, of Harvard, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Westfield Quality Care in Aurora. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, December 24 at the Evangelical Free Church in Aurora. Rev. Vance Christie will officiate.  The family request casual attire.
