Kodie Barta

Kodie Barta, age 17 months, of Henderson, passed away Friday, April 4, 2025, at Memorial Hospital in Aurora.
The family will hold a Memorial Service at Living Hope Church in Henderson on Monday, April 14 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a luncheon and fellowship. Memorials may be made to the family. Kodie Marie Barta, the daughter of Dustin Barta and Sharon Reck was born at Grand Island, on October 29, 2023 and passed away in Aurora, on April 4, 2025.
Kodie was a happy baby, a ray of sunshine to everyone she met. Bashful and shy at first, but quickly followed with the biggest smile she could give. She sure loved her music and never missed a beat with her dancing moves. She loved so big for being so little. 
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Richard Reck and paternal great-grandfather, Jack Barta.
Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Dustin Barta and Sharon Reck; siblings, Kali, Madison, Kennadi and John; maternal grandmother, Marilee Reck; paternal grandmother, Diana Barta; paternal great-grandmother, Marlene Barta and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members.
