The heart of Aurora was the place for spooks and goblins, all for a good cause over Halloween weekend.  Aurora native Carl Franklin scared up plenty of good times over Halloween weekend and while doing so put together a big donation for the Hamilton County Food Pantry.
Hampton village leaders accepted a study Monday night which concluded that the village is blighted and substandard according to state law, results that could be the first step in a long-term redevelopment effort to build more houses in the community.
