The Giltner School Board met with Nebraska State Patrol Captain Dean Riedel Monday night to discuss the board’s concern over the state patrol’s drug spot locations near the I-80 exit. “Thank you for having me to have these open conversations about concerns that you guys have,” Riedel said.

Youth Soccer kicks off spring season

The Optimist Youth Soccer league had a successful running start this spring with 408 K-6 students participating for six Saturday mornings continuing through May 11. The weather Saturday morning was breezy with enough sun for the players to shine in their second game of the season.
