This specially modified reflector was created to be used alongside Doc Edgerton’s high-powered strobes during World War II for nighttime surveillance photography. The strobe helped pilots and photographers capture images from altitudes as high as 5,000 feet.
Preliminary road work has begun at the intersection of Highway 34 and Grant Street. Crews will soon begin a construction project allowing access to 1st Street, which is scheduled for major renovation from Highway 34 to the railroad tracks.
