Unseasonal sunshine more than welcome

Hey, 78-degree day (in March), I missed you man! I don’t know about anyone else, but I feel like I shine when the sun shines. Stress, worries, even sadness disappears a little when it’s warmer.  But why is that?

Mark Twain wit, wisdom always good for a smile

Mark Twain has always been a favorite of mine. Maybe it was because I lived as a “river rat youth” in the Eastern Nebraska town of Plattsmouth that was located along the Missouri River and liked author Twain’s Tom Sawyer -- Huck Finn books depicting their activities along  the Mississippi River.

Tia the Tiger roars into history

She has a smile more infectious than any disease and a competitive spirit to move any mountain.  Aurora’s first-ever girls wrestling finalist in the history books is a foreign exchange student from Norway, just giving the sport of wrestling a try for the fun of it.  Crazy, right?
