Naomi Wilkins, age 92, of Harvard, formerly of Aurora, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at Harvard Rest Haven. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 10 at the Chapel of Higby-McQuiston Mortuary in Aurora.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Dorothy Marie Ang-Simpson, age 98 of Lincoln, formerly of Stromsburg, passed away September 4, 2022 at Bryan Medical Center East in Lincoln. Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 9, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Salem Lutheran Church in Stromsburg with Pastor Brenda Pfeifly officiating.

Sandra 'Sandy' Hettle

Sandra “Sandy” Hettle (Keller) passed away on September 5, 2022 at the Heritage at Sagewood in Grand Island. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2022 at St. Leo’s Catholic Church with concelebrants Fr. Don Burhman and Fr. Mark Maresh. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m.

Brett Bridge

Brett D. Bridge, 51, of Kearney, passed away September 1, 2022 at C.H.I. Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney due to complications from A.L.S.  He was surrounded by family and loved ones.  Services will be  held at 10:30 am, Sept. 8, 2022 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Fr.

Stanley Penner

Stanley A. Penner, age 91, of Henderson, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at his home. Stan’s wishes were not to have any services.  Stan will be buried in the Faith Evangelical Bible Cemetery south of Henderson.  Higby-McQuiston Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Larry D. Schultz, 60, passed away peacefully in his home from a sudden illness on August 8, 2022. In honor of Larry, a reception will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022, from 5-7 p.m. at Jubilee in Ord. Larry was known and loved by all as “Big Lar” in Ord, his home since 1984.
