Volunteers at Aurora Adopt-A-Pet are inviting the community to attend the “Smooches with Pooches and Cuddles with Kittens” Chili Feed and Silent Auction on Saturday, Feb. 22. The event at the Commercial Building at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds will take place from 5-8 p.m.

Declining participation numbers in high school sports was one of the main reasons given by the Hampton School Board for deciding to enter into a comprehensive multi-sport cooperative sponsorship agreement with Heartland Community Schools of Henderson Monday night.

The Hamilton County Home and Garden Show came back in full swing this weekend with a sold-out booth show featuring 45 vendors. On Saturday, Memorial Community Health’s 2025 Live Healthy Health Fair, with 30 vendors, joined the annual event.
