Though the Nebraska State Fair was limited in size and scope this year by a global pandemic, the sentiment among fairgoers, volunteers and board members was unanimous — having a smaller State Fair was better than having no State Fair at all.

Look who turns 80 on September 10th! The family of Roger Happold would like to honor him with a card shower. Roger Happold is married to Shirley Happold. They have three children: Doug Happold of Doniphan, Lori Williams of Seward, and Lisa Happold of Grand Island. Roger is a proud grandpa.
