This field near the “Welcome to Aurora” sign on Highway 14 has been dubbed Mission Critical by the Aurora Development Corporation. A preliminary plat of 136.49 acres and final plat of 20 acres was approved May 9 by the Aurora City Council for Brandt Consolidated Inc. to build a plant on the site.
