AHS starting up scholarship nights for seniors Aurora High School’s counseling office staff is now holding weekly scholarship nights for seniors. Every Tuesday night through the end of February, the office will be open for any senior seeking assistance.

Lane Urkoski has always dreamed about playing college football. The HPC senior will get his chance, turning in his red and blue for black and orange.  “College football has been in my head since I was younger. When I was younger I would always say I want to go to the NFL.

The High Plains boys team has given fans its monies worth so far in the early part of the season.  For the second time in as many games, the Storm won on the game’s final play, this time making a last-second shot to defeat Fullerton 48-47 Dec. 7.
