Being overly involved comes at a high price

This time of year is hard. As high school students, mental health is preached at us from many different people. Coaches and teachers always tell us to take care of ourselves, but activities and school make that almost impossible to do, so how are we expected to always stay afloat?

Danish exchange student makes Aurora her second home

Aurora High School senior and foreign exchange student Patricia Paranabas has made herself at home amongst the Huskies, despite being a long way from home. The adjustment from Denmark to small-town Aurora, Nebraska, was a big step for the 16-year-old.

One particular Husky football player has garnered a ton of attention with limited reps.  She -- that’s right, she -- is still learning the ins and outs of the game, but having fun with it all.
