Back again in all its glory, the 2022 Hamilton County Fair is set to keep the masses entertained and showcase the best of the best in livestock other homemade and home-grown goods and entertainment.

Phase one of HPC construction almost complete Students returning to High Plains Community Schools this fall will be greeted by some major changes at the high school as phase one of a $3.85 million addition is nearly complete. With classes set to begin Aug.

From Carolina Reaper peppers to flying cast-iron skillets, there were plenty of challenges for those visiting the Hamilton County Fair.  Joining the line-up was a pie, hot dog and hot pepper eating contest along with a ladies’ skillet toss.

The 2021 Hamilton County Fair kicked off with a bang Monday, igniting a week-long celebration of history, tradition and fun for all ages. An anvil was blown into the air during opening ceremonies in the grandstands, the first of many events planned at the fairgrounds this week.
