Hampton Village Board members approved “a status quo” budget and tax levy for the next fiscal year during a two-hour meeting Sept. 12, also reviewing plans for a drinking water study to address the town’s reliance on a single water well.

In continuation of a conversation about nitrate awareness, especially as it pertains to ground and drinking water, Conservation Nebraska hosted a February webinar with Upper Big Blue NRD water resources technician Erin Wilkins.

The first webinar was focused on what might be the hottest topic of them all -- nitrates in drinking water.
