Aurora to apply for CDBG funds for downtown revitalization

The Aurora City Council approved a request last week for a $435,000 Community Development Block Grant with a $100,000 match by participating business owners to help fund a downtown revitalization project .

Downtown sidewalks receive maintenance before A’ROR’N Days

Out on the north side of the downtown square, from the lower level concrete behind the brick ribbon to the east side of Mitchell’s Recreation, employees of Ott Concrete  Construction worked on the sidewalk as part of a preventative maintenance project from the city.

Urban Chic Boutique moves downtown

One year after launching Urban Chic Boutique as an online women’s clothing venture, Kelsey Hofmann turned her anniversary celebration Feb. 5 into an open house debut for a new brick and mortar location in downtown Aurora.
