Lippincott, Reimers share views at CC forum

Two Republican candidates running for the Dist. 34 seat in the Nebraska Legislature shared their thoughts last week in Central City, both showing respect for their opponents while voicing concerns they are hearing on the campaign trail.

Central City edges Lady Huskies, 2-0

Aurora and Class C No. 7 Central City made quick work of its Thursday night matchup.  With the threat of rain and two dominant pitchers, the Huskies and Bison completed its seven-inning battle in a shade under 90 minutes as Central City came out ahead on its home field, 2-0.

Huskies deliver four finalists at Central City Invite

Central City’s Invitational featured plenty of high stakes and heavy-hitting matches.  The Huskies were right in the thick of it with four wrestlers in the finals, two of those winners and a fourth place effort at the 16-team event Saturday.
