Hampton Village Board members took a first look Monday night at a preliminary plat map of a residential/commercial development proposed for newly annexed property on the west edge of town.
Hampton village leaders took the next step toward annexing property to the west for housing and commercial development Monday, then agreed to consider the possibility of floating a bond issue to cover part of the related infrastructure costs.

The Aurora City Council approved the second of three required readings to advance annexation of a parcel in the Kremer 5th Subdivision during a very brief meeting Jan. 25. Lot 2 of the Kremer Subdivision just north of A Street has been proposed for annexation into the city limits.
