Clubhouse manager previews plans for new facility

  • The new community clubhouse at Poco Creek Golf Course is now available for use, with the interior space first utilized during the member/guest golf tournament earlier this month.
    The new community clubhouse at Poco Creek Golf Course is now available for use, with the interior space first utilized during the member/guest golf tournament earlier this month.

    Clubhouse manager Dan Ziegler gave an update to the Aurora Rotary Club last week regarding status and future plans for the new clubhouse at Poco Creek Golf Course. 
    The new clubhouse, Ziegler explained of a structure still under construction, has a variety of programs as well as upcoming seasonal events to attract more than just new members. 
    “There are approximately 140 (golf course members) and the more, the merrier out there,” Ziegler said. “There’s always opportunities and, hopefully, with the new building that might attract some more people, but we are a community clubhouse. So it’s open to the community, not just members.”
