Aurora senior not ready to give up softball just yet

    Taryn McKinney was joined at her Thursday softball signing to Cloud County CC alongside her parents, Brett and Sheri, brother Owen and Aurora softball coaches Bodie Moeller, Joe Vanderpool and Ashton Voss.

    Taryn McKinney has always had fun playing in the softball diamond dirt, pitching heaters and hitting dingers. 
    She’s always done so with a determined look on her face. That look was more of a smile Thursday as she made her college choice official. 
    McKinney signed her letter of intent to continue her academic and softball career at Cloud County Community College in Concordia, Kan., completing a dream of hers to play at the next level. 
    The Aurora senior shared during her signing ceremony that she wasn’t quite sure, even at times during her senior year if she actually wanted to play college softball. Now, she’s all-in.
