Hailey Lindburg helped carry her team to a win while not once coming out of the game.
A bit shorthanded, High Plains outlasted Hampton 40-35 in an area matchup Thursday night in Polk.
With only seven players available to play, depth was an issue for High Plains as Lindburg played all 32 minutes, leading the charge with 13 points.
High Plains coach Mack Alspaugh pointed out Lindburg’s leadership ability is above her years and will do whatever it takes for the team.
“She always puts her all into everything and I can’t ask any more of her,” Alspaugh said. “She will keep making plays. She’s out best defender and our offensive leader.”
