High Plains showed off the new additions to its school last week, welcoming volleyball fans to a new entryway and concession stand, but the familiar Storm environment.
Not only that, but the Lady Storm were blessed with new jerseys to show off, a deep blue uniform with red faded in and big, bold numbers.
By night’s end on Sept. 14, HPC had split a triangular with Riverside and Palmer, losing to the Chargers but defeating the Tigers.
One thing High Plains coach Brittany Klingsporn pointed out about the Storm’s early success in 2021 goes back to a quick improvement offensively at the net.
“I think I have seen overall improvement in our hitting this year,” the coach said. “We are learning to stay aggressive even if we are out of system and not give the other teams an easy free ball.”
