When Aurora needed a spark the most, its lineup from top to bottom made it happen.
The Lady Huskies fell in a deep hole Thursday night, but rallied with 13 unanswered runs to defeat Central City 13-5 on Senior Night.
Central City was ready from the start, scoring two in the first and three more in the fourth to take a 5-0 lead over Aurora.
Up until the bottom of the fourth, Aurora was yet to score and only had three baserunners to that point.
Then, a switch happened.
Aurora scored 13 unanswered runs over the next two innings to not only take control, but force the run rule after five.
Aurora coach Ashton Voss pointed to a defensive switch halfway through the game as a point where the switch flipped.
