Vikings held to seven first-half points in Aurora victory
Body
Defensive pressure was a highlight for the Huskies Friday night.
Aurora held Columbus Lakeview to seven first-half points as the Huskies picked up a convincing 55-25 win over the Vikings.
Aurora coach Kevin Asher commented after the victory that the success defensively goes back to a will to want to play well on that end.
“The big thing is to buy in and we want to have passion on that end of the floor,” Asher commented. “We had four good days of practice this week and talked about defending other team’s actions. We were in the right position and played hard.”
