In its first tournament of the season, High Plains showed some serious potential in the brackets.
The Storm rallied to a fifth place team finish with four first-place medals at Saturday’s Conestoga Invite.
Levi Russell at 106, Hudson Urkoski at 113, Gage Friesen at 132 and Wyatt Urkoski at 160 were all gold medal champions at the event.
H. Urkoski won all three of his contested matches via pinfall while Friesen added two pins and a major decision.
