For a time in the first half, Giltner and Nebraska Lutheran were scoring touchdowns at an alarming rate for the defensive coaches.

The Knights scored at least one touchdown in every quarter, including three TDs in two of those, as Nebraska Lutheran knocked off the Hornets on its Homecoming night in Waco, 64-36. 
Giltner football coach Dane McConnell said after the game he was proud of his team’s physicality and toughness throughout the game. There were just some points of the night the Hornets actually scored too quickly.
