Sometimes the harder you try, the less things go your way.
Aurora’s boys basketball team went cold from the field Friday night at home against Seward, losing a hard-fought 47-34 decision to drop their record to 9-6 heading into this week’s conference tournament, the boys still securing the top overall seed.
On Thursday at Kearney Catholic, the boys lost 53-40.
Against Seward, points were hard to come by all night long, especially early for both teams as the ‘Jays took a 5-4 lead after the first eight minutes.
