High Plains began its 6-man journey with a convincing 58-0 win over Elba Friday while Giltner fought hard in its own 6-man inauguration, falling at home to McCool Junction in a throwback CRC game Thursday night, 59-28.
Brody Rudy threw for 324 passing yards for the Hornets with four TDs while Braxton Cady caught 11 passes for 251 yards and three scores.
