Brooke Bannister had a dream, ever since she was a young girl, to play volleyball at the college level. 
With every swing on the outside, other people figured that out, too. Now, she has a college home playing the game she loves. 
The HPC senior signed a letter of intent to continue her academic and volleyball career at Northeast Community College Thursday with her family, coaches and teammates right behind her. 
For her, signing her name Thursday afternoon was a dream come true and the product of years working in the gym.
